The exhibition DEUS XXI will take place at the Italian Hall of St. Petersburg State Academy of Arts

The works presented there will be the authors' answers to the question: “What is God like in the 21st century?” The concept of this artistic research lies not only in the ability to give the viewer an opportunity of solving acute social collisions and of metaphysical visual searches for new understanding of beauty and harmony, but, above all, in providing resources for cocreation with the artist in research of the problems that remain actual to us.

Curators of the project are Michael Pastukhov and Daria Silicheva. The exhibition is held as part of the 2020 student competition of exhibition projects at the initiative of Elena Turchinskaya and with support of Semyon Mikhailovsky.
